Booking and Rates
We do not currently book exclusively through any agency. Although
we take an agency job from time to time, (and have nothing personal
against agents or talent agencies), the band books itself and
acts as it's own representative. Basically this means that you
will always deal directly with the band, rather than through a
middle man, broker, or agent.
Since we've touched on money, let's pass on the prices. The band charges $900 for a three hour engagement in the Fort Wayne, In area. In order to hold the date for you we require that a non-refundable $300 retainer be sent along with a signed contract. The remaining balance isn't due until the day of the function.
Additional sets are $250.00 for each additional 45 minute set.
We arrive for set-up 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of the performance. If you need us to arrive any earlier we charge $60.00 per half hour for early set-up.
If you would like us to perform for your cocktail hour, (in addition to the band's 3 hours), the rate is $150.00 for each hour.
That's it. There are no other "hidden" charges or fees. We accept cash and personal checks.
We use a written agreement for each performance we book. This serves to protect us as well as you, the client. The agreement spells out in detail the who, what, when, where, why, and how much of each performance. It assures that you have complete control over the volume level the band plays at, and spells out any special terms or considerations made with the band such as early arrival, special songs to learn, or other special considerations that must be met.
While the agreement is fairly straightforward, we will be more than happy to discuss any specific provisions with you, and amendments and addendums to the contract are always considered.
